Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using Viska, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the application.

1. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use Viska on macOS devices you own. You may NOT reverse engineer, resell, or distribute the application.

You may not use automated tools to abuse the service or bypass rate limits.

2. Subscription Tiers

• Free: Basic tier with limitations.
• Pro: Unlimited transcription for professionals (subject to Fair Use).
• Ultra: Supporter tier with priority support and beta access.

Fair Use Policy: "Unlimited" means standard professional usage. Automated bulk processing or excessive usage beyond typical human capabilities may be rate-limited.

3. Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation: You may cancel at any time via the Stripe Customer Portal in Settings. You keep access until the end of the billing period.

EU Right of Withdrawal: Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. However, by using the transcription service, you acknowledge that you lose this right once the service has been performed.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Viska for illegal activities, harassment, fraud, or to infringe on intellectual property rights. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Disclaimers

"As Is": Viska is provided without warranty of any kind.

AI Services: AI transcriptions may contain errors ("hallucinations"). Viska is NOT intended for medical, legal, or safety-critical use. Always verify transcription accuracy.

Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 3 months, or €50, whichever is greater.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be resolved in Swedish courts.
